Mr. Steven Brinkley from Columbus, Ohio, played football from 1976 to 1979. He played on WVIAC championship teams in 1976, 1977 and 1978. He played in the Coal Bowl championships in 1978 and 1979 and earned recognition as the defensive MVP in the Coal Bowl 1978. He was selected as the WVIAC defensive player of the year in 1979.
