Reed made quite an impact on the men's basketball program in his two seasons—2014-15 and 2015-16. The junior college product out of South Bend, Indiana was a 1,000-point scorer in just two years and became one of the most prolific three-point shooters in program history. Reed was also a driving force for CU capturing its first conference title in men's basketball in nearly two decades in 2016. After coming off the bench in all 29 games in 2014-15, Reed ascended as one of the best players in the Mountain East Conference during the 2015-16 campaign. Reed averaged 21.5 points per game and canned 119 three-pointers on his way to being All-MEC First Team and the first all-region player for CU since 2007. One of the most famous shots in program history was Reed's game winner in the MEC Semifinals against number-one, nationally-ranked West Liberty on his way to being the MEC Tournament MVP. He finished with 1,087 career points and 187 career three-pointers, ninth all-time at Concord.
