Ford was a four-year starter for Concord at linebacker from 1991-1994. Ranking in the top five in all-time tackles at Concord, Ford was the 1994 WVIAC Defensive Player of the Year and a NAIA All-American. In 1992, Ford played on the nation's top defense as the Mountain Lions advanced to the NAIA playoffs.
