One of the best two way players at Concord as both a pitcher and position player, Huffer was a three-time all-region honoree and a two-time All-American. Huffer was a first team All-American in 2009 and second team pick in 2010. Huffer is the program's leader in career hits 276 and also tallied 15 wins on the mound. Huffer was his graduating class's Valedictorian in 2010.
