A three-time All-WVIAC First Team selection in 2009, 2010 and 2012 in cross country, Peters concluded his career by being named the WVIAC Runner of the Year in 2012 after winning the individual conference championship. On the track, Peters was equally successful with his best year coming in 2013. He won both the WVIAC Championship 5,000-meters and 10,000-meters in his final season of eligibility to be named all-conference first team in both events. Peters earned All-Atlantic Region in both events as well at the end of the 2013 season. And in 2012, Peters became Concord’s first all-region cross country athlete in eight years when he finished 17th at the Atlantic Regional Championship.
