Athletics Facilities Page Anderson Field Anderson Field is home to the Concord baseball. Built in 1980, the baseball program utilizes the field for the spring where they have a record of 217-110 since the start of the 2010 season. Along with the turf infield, Concord's bullpen and batting cages are now turfed thanks in part to a generous gift.        Callaghan Stadium June O. Shott Field at Callaghan Stadium is the home field of the Concord football team. It also serves as a practice facility for the men's and women's cross country and track and field teams at CU. The Mountain Lions have enjoyed 13 conference championships at Callaghan Stadium as well as a regional championship in 2014. The rubber track oval around the turf of Callaghan Stadium has aided Concord in winning six combined conference championships as well as served as a training facility to numerous track conference champions as well as a national champion, Shawnee Carnett in 2011 and 2014. With the renovation of the track surface in 2016, Concord has resumed hosting high school and college meets at Callaghan Stadium. Prior to the 2024 season, the Concord men's and women's soccer teams began playing on the turf surface of Callaghan Stadium. It was the first soccer games played on Concord's campus since 2019. Christie/Cox Court at the Carter Center Christie/Cox Court is the home court of the Concord men's and women's basketball teams as well as the CU volleyball team. Since the beginning of 2024, Christie/Cox Court--the floor named for the two winningest men's basketball coaches in program history--has undergone several changes. New bleachers were installed in the summer of 2024. State of the art scoreboards were installed at the same time. And in the summer of 2025, the floor was re-done inside the Carter Center to prepare for the upcoming seasons. CU Softball Field The Mountain Lions' softball team plays all home games at the CU Softball Field tucked in behind Callaghan Stadium. The all-turf infield was transformed in the summer of 2021. To enhance the fan experience, a handicap accessible seating deck was built in 2025 and the program received a new scoreboard in left-center field in the summer of 2024. Hillman Weight Room The Hillman Weight Room is named after Eric Hillman, a former Mountain Lion student-athlete. All Concord varsity sports train in the Hillman Weight Room to prepare for their seasons.Â
