Prather became the first Division II athlete to go under 14 minutes in the 5,000-meter run during the outdoor season as he clocked 13:57.87 at Raleigh Relays Thursday night. He broke his own school record by nine seconds as he compete against some of the best Division I competition in the country. Prather became the first Mountain East Conference athlete to break the 14-minute threshold in conference history.
