Concord University senior first baseman Joey Miller led the Mountain Lions to a 4-2 record last week and continued to show why he is one of the top hitters in the MEC. On the week, Miller hit .412 with six runs scored, three home runs and eight RBI while slugging .941 and compiling a .522 on-base percentage. The highlight of Miller’s week was a 4-for-4, four-RBI, one-home run performance in Concord’s 10-4 win over Glenville State. Miller also had home runs in CU’s extra inning loss against West Virginia State and in a 12-2 victory vs. Glenville State.
