Concord University senior pitcher Ryan Weatherholtz extended his scoreless inning streak to 21.1 innings with his third straight seven-inning shutout last week in Concord’s 11-0 victory over West Liberty. Weatherholtz allowed just three Hilltopper hits in a game in which he also struck out eight and faced just three batters over the minimum. After allowing two second-inning hits, Weatherholtz went on to retire 14 consecutive batters before a WLU single in the seventh inning.
