Concord University sophomore pitcher Chris Kelly was masterful in CU’s 10-0 victory at Wheeling Jesuit in game three of what would be a series-sweep for the Mountain Lions. Kelly allowed just two hits and no walks over seven innings while striking out a season-high six batters on just 69 pitches in his first complete game shutout of the year. After giving up a single with one out in the second inning, Kelly went on to retire 14 straight batters before giving up WJU’s second hit en route to the win.
