MARSHALL ENTRIES
With the MEC Championships a week away, this is the final chance for the Mountain Lions to meet their marks and get inside the top 16 in a particular event.

Not only is Ward on the cut line of the 3,000-meters, but he is also 19th in the 5,000-meters. The Princeton, West Virginia native will race both events this weekend. Five Mountain Lions are wavering around the top 16 of the 800-meter run. Freshman Jaedan Holstein (15th), graduate student Alex Watty (18th), freshman AJ Skeens (22nd) and junior Zach Wilson (24th) all hope to move up in the rankings while junior Ethan Board will be seeking a qualifier in the event. Foddrell is currently 19th in the 200-meter dash and needs to have off less than 0.2 seconds to get into the top 16.

Already having secured a spot in the 5,000-meters at the MEC Championships, sophomore Katy Walkup (18th) and junior Madison Cornett (22nd) seek to move up into the top 16 of the 3,000-meters. Speaking of the 5,000-meters, sophomore Emma Londeree will give the event a go for the third straight week as she currently ranks 21st in the MEC. Freshman Piper Doughton is 22nd. Sophomore Talayna Holmes is entered in the 60-meter dash where she hopes to improve her 14th-place ranking in the MEC. Graduate student Abbey Wallace is sitting 15th in the shot put heading into the weekend with a throw of 10.56 meters in December. Wallace and freshman Meagan Poticher are both entered in the weight throw as well. Poticher is 23rd in the MEC.
