DANIELS, W.Va. – The Concord University men's golf team placed tenth in the Glade Springs Fall Kickoff on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Through three rounds, the Mountain Lions totaled a team score of 931 (308, 310, 313).
Fifth-year senior
Carson Proffitt led CU in scoring with a total of 216 behind a 71 (-1) in Round 1. Proffitt shot 73 (+1) and 72 (E) to finish tied for second in the field.
Senior
Michael Growe Jr. and junior
Indiana Eades were next in scoring for the Mountain Lions. Growe finished at 233 placing him 33rd in the field while Eades finished at 242.
Sophomore
Zan Hill tallied 247 and finishing strong with a round three score of 80 and
David Gibb rounded out Concord's lineup with a 253 total.
Junior
Peyton Watts competed as an individual and placed 17th with a three round total of 249.
IUP's Alex Swinnerton finished first in the team field with a total score of 211 (-5). Glenville State edged IUP (879-880) for the team title.
Concord heads to Berry Hills Country Club September 11 and 12 to compete in the Charleston Invite.
