Haskell Added to Softball Coaching Staff

ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University head softball coach Alyssa Morris has announced the hiring of Hannah Haskell to the coaching staff for the 2022-23 school year.

Haskell makes the moves to CU after a successful playing career at Division III Houghton University in Houghton, New York.

The Binghamton, New York native finished her career in the spring batting .457 with 35 RBI and 11 stolen bases to go with 15 extra-base hits. She was named to the All-Empire 8 First Team along with being a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region performer, and a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-American. Haskell was also voted as Houghton's Empire 8 Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Before shortened seasons in the 2020 and 2021, Haskell was an All-Empire 8 Second Team selection as a freshman after batting .363 with 17 RBI in 2019.

For her career, Haskell batted. 390 (142-for-364) as she sported an average of at least .340 in all four years of her career. She also stole 33 career bases while being caught stealing just five times.

In addition to her duties on the field for the Mountain Lions, Haskell will pursue her master's degree in business administration from Concord after graduating with her bachelor's degree in sports recreation and wellness management at Houghton.
