Munsey Runs Personal-Record Time at Highlander Invitational

RADFORD, Va. – Junior Jake Munsey ran a personal-record time of 4:21.68 in the 1,500-meter run at the Highlander Invitational hosted by Radford University late Friday night.

Munsey finished 14^th in the 1,500-meters as he eclipsed his previous career-best time by two seconds.

Additionally, Munsey moved up from 19^th to 16^th on the Mountain East Conference men's track and field performance list.

The 16 athletes in each event will advance to the MEC Track & Field Championships May 3-5 at Laidley Field in Charleston, West Virginia.
