Emptying the Notebook: 2025 Women's Soccer

ATHENS, W.Va. – With the 2025-26 school year officially wrapped up, the Concord University Sports Information Department will provide a rewind to some of the numbers and notes that were pertinent to the success of the Mountain Lions.

Each athletic program at Concord will have their own spotlights in this Emptying the Notebook series. The numbers and notes that may or may not have been used in previews and recaps throughout the season.

Continuing with the fall sports, the spotlight is on women's soccer.

Emptying the Notebook on Women's Soccer
3- Tiana Campbell became the first Concord player to net a hat trick in a conference postseason game after she scored all three of CU's goals in a 3-0 win over Point Park in the Mountain East Conference Tournament Quarterfinals.

4- Four different goalkeepers, Abigail Bruce, Gabby Griffith, Maddie Loughborough and Isabelle Melton, contributed to Concord's nine shutouts during the 2025 campaign.

6- Concord's 3-3 draw versus Charleston in October was the highest-scoring draw for the Mountain Lions in program history. CU previously had six games finish in 2-2 draws before the 3-3 deadlock against UC.

8- Consecutive years that Concord has had multiple all-region players after Campbell and Ella Rowell earned the distinction in 2025.

15- Different goal scorers for the Mountain Lions in the fall—the most in a single season since the 2021 squad had 16 scorers.

17- Career assists that Caitlin Webster finished with in three seasons at Concord, good enough for ninth in program history.

36- Assists for the Mountain Lions in 2025, marking the sixth straight year CU has amassed 30 or more assists in a season. Webster (eight) and Rowell (six) led Concord in assists.

116- Career victories for Luke Duffy before he announced he was stepping away from the program to be the full-time Concord Athletic Director in January. Duffy is the winningest coach in program history, racking up nearly 30 more victories than second place.
