MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Concord University women's track & field placed ninth at the Mountain East Conference Outdoor Championships that wrapped up Tuesday at Mylan Park.
The Mountain Lions had 30.5 points in the meet.
Each Concord relay scored points with the 4x100-meter relay team of sophomore
Cassidy Hammonds, freshman Avery Lily, sophomore
Kendall Lilly and junior
Kiley Smich clocked 51.12 seconds and finished seventh.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Hammonds, A. Lilly, Smich and freshman
Violet Wall did one better with a sixth-place showing as they combined to run 4:05.38.
Smich contributed an eighth-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 10.26 meters.
Wall just missed scoring in the 1,500-meter run as she came through in ninth place with a time of 4:50.86.
Freshman
Chloe Cox tossed a personal-best distance of 35.67 meters in the discus to finish 10
th. Junior
Meagan Poticher was two spots back with a mark of 33.98 meters.
