SENIOR LEADERS
In Concord's series win over Shepherd, the senior trio of outfielder Korbin Bostic, infielder Matthew DiSanti and outfielder Dawson Gragg were influential. Bostic capped his impressive week of 14 RBI with a home run and four RBI in the series. DiSanti finished 6-for-9 with five runs scored and seven RBI. He already has a team-best four multi-hit games through the first 10 games of the season. Additionally, DiSanti is fourth in the Mountain East Conference in batting average (.485) among players with at least 20 at-bats. Bostic (14) and DiSanti (11) are first and second in the league in RBI. Gragg started the week with four hits against Bluefield State, and concluded the week by tallying five RBI—matching his career high—in an 11-4 win over Shepherd. Gragg was 4-for-10 in the series.

HEATING UP
After a tough start to the season, sophomore outfielder Atticus Goodson and senior catcher Kaden Swaim are beginning to find their groove. Goodson started the year 1-for-22, but against Shepherd was 4-for-7 with his second home run of the season to go with his first career triple in the Maroon and Gray. He drove in five runs in the series. Swaim was just 1-for-13 in the four games preceding the Shepherd series, however, the Winston-Salem, North Carolina native went 4-for-11 over the weekend and reached base a total of seven times. Although batting .273 for the year, Swaim has an on-base percentage of .432.

CLIMBING THE LADDER
Junior pitcher Jake Robinson was stellar in his first home start of the season as he helped secure the series finale by tossing five strong innings. Robinson struck out four batters and held Shepherd to two earned runs. It was Robinson's 10th career win on the mound at CU. The Raleigh, North Carolina is also steadily nearing the top 10 in career strikeouts at Concord. Robinson goes into the weekend 114 career punchouts, 30 shy of the top 10 in program history.

WELCOME BACK
This weekend will be the first meeting between Concord and Kutztown on the baseball diamond since the Mountain Lions swept a three-games series from KU in March 2022. CU outscored the Bears 44-14 over the three games, including plating 21 and 17 runs in the second and third games of the series. The only other time the sides have played was in 2008 in a neutral-site meeting in Georgia. On the mound, Concord had 27 strikeouts as a pitching staff. Graduate student Rylee Nicholas is the only player for Concord still on the current roster. As a freshman in 2022, Nicholas tossed 5.1 innings in the series finale as he secured his second career win.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
Kutztown opened the season last weekend by playing three games in Cary, North Carolina. The Bears lost a doubleheader to Slippery Rock, but bounced back with an 8-7 over 2025 NCAA Tournament team Goldey-Beacom. Bo Barthol, an All-PSAC East Second Team selection from last season, is hitting .364 this year with a home run and three RBI. Jared Ferguson is 7-for-12 to start the year. Kannon Zdimal picked up the win on the mound versus Goldey-Beacom as he struck out five over five innings and only surrendered three runs.
