MEC CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRIES
Hickey and Ward will double up in the 3,000-meter and 5,000-meters. Ward is ranked fourth in the 5,000-meters and seventh in the 3,000-meters. Hickey is 13th in the shorter distance and 14th in the 5,000-meters. Canaday enters the weekend seeded 13th in the 5,000-meters and Childress is 14th in the 3,000-meters. Redshirt freshman Dom Collins is one of the favorites in the 60-meter dash as he has run the second-fastest time in the conference at 6.81 seconds. Cunningham will be in three different field events: long jump (sixth), high jump (seventh) and triple jump (ninth). Sophomore Dallas Ford is seeded third in the triple and 16th in the long jump. Other entries for the weekend include Ford in the 60-meter hurdles, freshman William Jackson in the 400-meter dash and junior AJ Skeens in the mile run. Sophomore Tobi Adebulu is sixth in the heptathlon.

For the Concord women, Hammonds will be in three events. She competes in the pentathlon where she is ranked third along with the 60-meter hurdles and long jump where she is seeded seventh in both. Freshman Violet Wall will be highlighted in the middle distance events. She has a seed of sixth in the 800-meters. She is ranked 10th in the mile run. The Concord distance medley relay will consist of junior Piper Doughton, freshman Avery Lilly, junior Charlotte McGinnis and Turner. On the 4x400-meter relay will be Lilly, McGinnis, Wall and sophomore Jenna Webb.

MEC CHAMPIONSHIP NOTES
The CU men are seeking to improve upon a ninth-place finish from last winter. Ward was 11th in the 3,000-meters in 2025. Skeens was 15th in the mile a year ago. Skeens and Ward are the only returners that competed in last year's MEC Indoor Championship that will lace up the spikes this weekend.

Hammonds was fifth in the pentathlon as she scored 2,967 points, a school record. She was fifth in the triple jump as she marked a school-record distance of 10.84 meters and she finished 12th in the long jump. Hammonds and Webb were on the 4x400-meter relay that finished seventh. Concord was 10th as a team last year.
