ALANA'S ASSISTS
Freshman forward Alana Ferguson leads Concord with four assists on the season, which is tied for the most in the Mountain East Conference. Ferguson has provided a major spark for the Mountain Lions as a super sub this season, tallying five goal contributions. Ferguson has dished out two assists to sophomore midfielder Marika Svensson, and one assist to sophomore midfielder Taryn Kelly senior forward Caitlin Webster.

PEPPERING THE KEEPER
Concord's offense has been creating chances at a really high rate all season long. As a team, the Mountain Lions have been held to single digit shots in just one game all season which came against nationally-ranked Gannon. In every other contest, Concord has notched at least 11 shots as a team. They have had seven games in which they have fired over 15 shots. Sophomore midfielder Tiana Campbell leads the team with 36 shots with 19 of them being delivered on target. Both of those figures also lead the MEC.

EVEN SLATE
Concord and Frostburg State have been two of the premier teams in the MEC over the past six year since FSU came into the conference, meeting eight times. Both teams have picked up four wins against each other with Frostburg leading the goal differential 14-11. The Bobcats have picked up three straight victories over the Mountain Lions and no current CU players have netted a goal against FSU.

LIMITED HISTORY
Last season, Concord and Point Park met for the first time. CU picked up a 1-0 victory in Athens, and will make the return trip next week, marking their first game at Highmark Stadium. In the 2024 matchup, the Mountain Lions led with 16 shots to the Pioneers six and CU had six shots on goal to PPU's two. Sophomore goalkeeper Maddie Loughborough made saves on both shots on goal.

SCOUTING THE FROSTBURG STATE BOBCATS
Frostburg State is off to a good start to their season with a 6-3-1 record and the Bobcats' 4-2-1 MEC clip has them at second in the North division. They pilot one of the best offenses in the league led by a trio of sophomores. Forward Mollie Rebuck leads the Bobcats with four goals. Right behind her is forward Elena Fernandez and midfielder Cassidy Paige with three apiece. As a team, they have scored 28 goals which is second most in the MEC.

SCOUTING THE POINT PARK PIONEERS
Point Park slots in right behind Frostburg State in the MEC North with a 5-4-1 overall record and a 4-3 record in conference matchups. Point Park also leads a high-powered offense that has seen PPU score 27 goals already. Freshman forward Rebecca Pihlgren is lighting it up with six goals on the season. That is tied for second most in the MEC. While their offense is very prolific, the Pioneers have conceded the fourth most goals in the conference with 16.
