CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Concord University men's golf team finished seventh at the UC Spring Invite hosted by Charleston at Edgewood Country Club Monday.

The first two rounds were completed Monday, but weather conditions canceled Tuesday's third round of action. The Mountain Lions had rounds of 319 and 321 for a total of 640.

Junior
Indiana Eades was the top performer for CU with rounds of 78 and 77 to tie for 24
th place (+13). After a birdie and a bogey to start his second round, Eades rattled off seven straight pars to post a team-best 34 on the front nine.

Sophomore
Zan Hill tied for 28
th in the event, scoring 81 in round one and firing back with a 77 in round two.

Peyton Watts tied for 34
th, shooting a round-one 78 and finishing with an 82 in the second round.

Jacob Chittaphong placed 47
th and sophomore
David Gibb finished 49
th.

Charleston ran away with the team title with rounds of 285 (+1) and 287 (+4) for a grand total of 572. Charleston's Erik Ulvang clinched the individual honors, shooting under par in both rounds to post a final score of 139 (-3).

Concord will compete in the Mountain East Conference Spring Invite at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, W.Va. April 8-9.
