DRAPER, Va. – The Concord University men's golf team won the Battle for Draper that was contested Monday and Tuesday at Draper Valley Golf Club.

CU scored 313 and 309 to record a team score of 322 which was 10 strokes better than West Virginia Wesleyan.

Freshman
Henry Lewis won the tournament with a two-day total of 148 as he shot +3, 75 and +1, 73. Lewis buried two eagles on the back nine during the first round with a hole out on the par-4, 317-yard 10
th hole and another two on the par-4, 348-yard 15
th hole. He also played the back nine at -1 on Tuesday with back-to-back birdies on the 12
th and 13
th holes. Lewis also had birdies on the sixth and eighth holes in Tuesday's final round.

Freshman
Jackson Williams had a 36-hole total of 154 as he scored 78 and 76 and finished tied for third. Williams had a team-best seven birdies, including five during the final round. He started with a birdie on the fourth hole, finished up the front nine with a birdie on the ninth hole and had red numbers on the 11
th, 15
th and 17
th holes on the back nine. One of the two birdies during Monday's opening round was on the ninth hole for Williams.

Freshman
Dylan Canterbury tied for fifth with a total of 159 (78, 81). He had three birdies with two coming in the first round, and a had a birdie on the 12
th hole Tuesday.

Sophomore
Jonah Willson was two strokes back of Canterbury as he tied for seventh after rounds of 82 and 79. Willson finished the tournament strong with consecutive birdies on 16 and 17 Tuesday.

Freshman
Shih-Chieh Cheng had a pair of 82s as he tied for 12
th. Three of the four birdies for Cheng came on Tuesday's front nine, including starting the final round with a red number on number one.
