ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University men's and women's track & field teams will be in action this weekend, Friday and Saturday at the Flames Invite hosted by Lee University, and Saturday Charleston's Golden Eagle Invite.

Senior
Emily Wallace ran a top-five time in the Mountain East Conference in the 1,500-meter run last weekend at High Point as she clocked 4:47.03. Graduate student
Hannah Altizer also went under five minutes as she posted 4:53.60. Freshman
Talayna Holmes jumped to fifth in the MEC in the 100-meter dash with a showing of 12.37 seconds at High Point. Concord's 4x100-meter relay of freshman

Jerell Strachan clocked 50.98 seconds in their season debut.
Graduate student
Issac Prather continued to break program records as he became the first athlete at Concord to go under 3:50 in the 1,500-meter as he stopped the timer at 3:49.13—the 15
th-fastest time in Division II this season. Graduate student
Cedric Drennen ran 4:02.20 in the 1,500-meters as he moved into the top 10 in the MEC. Sophomore
Logan Zuchelli was top five in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:23.81. Junior
Caleb Hatcher came through in 9:35.79 in the steeplechase to finish 10th. Senior
Robbie Cochran recorded the third-fastest time in the MEC in the 400-meter hurdles (56.78 seconds).
FLAMES INVITE ENTRIES
Altizer and Wallace will be the only female participants at Lee. Altizer makes her career debut in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Wallace is slated to double up in the 800-meter and 5,000-meter runs.
As for the men, Prather competes in the steeplechase along with Hatcher. Prather is currently ranked seventh in Division II (9:02.45). The trio of graduate student

Alex Watty are both entered in the 800-meters and 1,500-meters. Graduate student
Gerard Hearst will be doubling up in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. The entries are rounded out by sophomore
Ian Gardner (400-meter dash) and Drennen (5,000-meters).
CHARLESTON ENTRIES
Concord's event slate is highlighted by five athletes in the 200-meters: Cunningham, Davis, Holmes, Jackson and sophomore
Kylea Pollinger. Four athletes will be lining up in the 800-meters with the field featuring sophomore
Baylee Bentley, sophomore
Kaylee Dixon, freshman
Emma Londeree and sophomore
Erin O'Sullivan. Jackson and junior
Taylor Perry are entered in the high jump, long jump and shot put together.
Several Mountain Lion men are scheduled to compete in the 800-meters with sophomore
