MEC TOURNAMENT SCENARIOS
New to the conference this season is the possibility of the fifth-place team from a division replacing the fourth-place team from the opposite division. Heading into the final weekend of conference play, MEC South fifth-place Concord has more wins (10) than fourth-place MEC North teams Alderson Broaddus and West Liberty (8). In order to qualify for the MEC Tournament, CU will need to finish the season with more MEC wins than both AB and WLU. AND the Mountain Lions need West Liberty to finish ahead of Alderson Broaddus in the standings due to Concord having a better run differential versus WLU (+7) than AB (even).

ROAD WARRIORS
The Mountain Lions picked up a crucial sweep at Notre Dame, 4-1 and 11-2, Tuesday afternoon to vault themselves into the conference postseason picture. Sophomore infielder
Courtney Raines spearheaded the offensive outburst as she finished the twinbill 4-for-7 with two home runs and seven RBI. She hit a pair of three-run home runs. With nine RBI over her last four games, Raines is now second on the team in RBI (21) behind only sophomore pitcher/outfielder
Rachael Koller's 23. Speaking of Koller, her and junior pitcher
Nancy-Jo Roberts shut down the Falcons offensively. Koller carried a shutout into the seventh inning of game one as she did not allow a hit until the fifth inning. Roberts began her start by retiring the first 12 batters she faced. The three runs allowed by CU tied for the fewest allowed in an MEC doubleheader this season—March 25 versus Davis & Elkins and March 29 at Glenville State.
DRIVE THE BALL
In going 3-1 against Alderson Broaddus and Notre Dame over the last four road games, Concord collected 12 extra-base hits, including five in game two Tuesday. Freshman infielder
Lacie Lewis has three extra-base hits over her last three games, including home runs in both games at AB. Fellow freshman infielder
Morgan Cline hit her second home run of the season at Notre Dame Tuesday, and first since March 10 at home versus Bluefield State. Graduate outfielder
Sarah Thompson tallied her 46
th career double Tuesday as she tied Stephanie Smith (1996-99) for fourth on the program's all-time list. Thompson is eight hits from 200 for her career, currently fifth in program history.
SEE THE FINISH LINE
The Mountain Lions are 4-2 in their last six games as they continue the postseason push. Earlier this season, Concord split a doubleheader with Davis & Elkins as the Maroon and Gray shutout the Senators 6-0 in game one. CU dropped game two 4-1. Sophomore pitcher
Caitlyn Bauer posted a three-hit shutout while striking out seven. Lewis had two hits, including one of her team-best 12 doubles, and two RBI in game one. Thompson also notched a double. The Mountain Lions will be looking to overcome a home sweep by WVWC March 26. Roberts allowed just two runs on five hits in a tough 2-0 loss in game two.
