ATHENS, W.Va. – With the 2025-26 school year officially wrapped up, the Concord University Sports Information Department will provide a rewind to some of the numbers and notes that were pertinent to the success of the Mountain Lions.
Each athletic program at Concord will have their own spotlights in this Emptying the Notebook series. The numbers and notes that may or may not have been used in previews and recaps throughout the season.
Just two more sports left to highlight, and today softball is profiled.
Emptying the Notebook on Softball
2- Lacie Lewis (1.003) and
Kendall Morgan (1.000) were two of the 13 players in the Mountain East Conference that finished the year with an OPS of 1.000 or higher.
4- Career-high RBI for
Kayla Sholter in her final career game as she drove in four of Concord's five runs in the MEC Tournament versus Glenville State.
22- Extra-base hits (11 doubles and 11 home runs) for
Madison Hollis, representing a career season at the plate during her senior season.
27- Stolen bases for Morgan which was a single-season program record.
30- Career home runs for Lewis which ranks second in program history at Concord.
34- Career wins for Hollis which ranks third in program history.
70- Stolen bases for the Mountain Lions as a team which was third all-time in single-season program history, and just two shy of breaking the program record set in 2000.
154- Strikeouts for
Reghan Hintz which was just the second occurrence in program history of a pitcher striking out 150 or more batters in a single season.
