Indiana Eades finished tied for 18th place individually at the MEC Men's Golf Championships at Avalon Lakes Country Club on Wednesday.
Eades shot rounds of 76 and 80 in the first two rounds of the tournament to qualify for individual placement on day three.
He started his third round by shooting a 42 on the front nine, but quickly found his rhythm on the back nine. Eades birdied two out of the first four holes on the back nine and parred nine holes in the round to shoot a 79 on day three. Eades had a birdie on the par-5, 11
th and came back with a three on the par-4, 13
th after a bogey on the 12
th hole.
Eades finished with a three-day total of 235.
West Virginia Wesleyan's Francisco Taboada placed first in individual scoring as he was the only player to finish under par for the tournament, -3, 213. Davis & Elkins defended its team title from a season ago.
