UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – The Concord University men's cross country team placed 32
nd at the NCAA Division II National Championship Friday morning at Chambers Creek Park.
Concord amassed 803 points and beat out Roberts Wesleyan and Franklin Pierce on the national stage.
Graduate student
Issac Prather clocked a time of 30:33 and finished 41
st which was one spot away from All-American honors. Prather teetered between 30
th and 41
st for the final 4.5 miles of the 10,000-meter or 6.2-mile race.
Sophomore
Logan Zuchelli came through in 181
st—158
th in scoring—as he clocked a time of 32:14. Graduate student
Cedric Drennen was 11 seconds as well as 11 places behind Zuchelli.

Preston Prather stopped the timer at 33:37 and finished 239

Caleb Hatcher came through in successive places. Board ran 35:09 while Watty and Hatcher both finished in 35:16.
Colorado Mines ran away with the team championship as the Orediggers put all seven runners in the top 30 and scored 43 points. The next closest team was Wingate with 177 points. Colorado Mines' Dillon Powell ran 29:28 and won by 19 seconds over Grand Valley State's Tanner Chada.
