RECORDS
The Mountain Lions are 2-1 this season with both wins coming on the road.

Wheeling is 1-3 this season after winning its most recent game, 2-0, over Frostburg State.

FLAIR FOR THE DRAMATICS
Senior midfielder Yasmin Mosby's goal in the fourth minute at Davis & Elkins was good enough for CU to earn its second win of the season Sunday on the road. Mosby tallied her 14th career goal which is five away from breaking into the program's top 10 goals list. Of the 14 goals, four have been game winners for Mosby, including the last three goals scored by Mosby. She had the game-winning goal in 2019's MEC Championship and a double overtime goal in early November 2019 against Notre Dame. Additionally, Mosby has scored in back-to-back games against D&E.

ROAD WARRIORS
With the narrow 1-0 win over Davis & Elkins, the Mountain Lions have now won five straight road games and are unbeaten in 12 of their last 14 road games, sporting a mark of 12-1-1 going back to the early part of the 2018 season. During the last five road games, Concord has outscored teams 27-1 with the lone score allowed to Wheeling in a decisive 7-1 victory October 30, 2019. Junior forward Leah Foster netted two goals in the victory while sophomore defender Zoe Belding and Mosby each chipped in a score. Mosby added an assist on Foster's first goal in the ninth minute, and sophomore midfielder Michelle Brogden had three assists in the contest.

LONG TIME COMING
With MEC women's soccer splitting into divisions prior to 2018, Concord only faces off with Wheeling once during the regular season and the last two meetings have occurred at WU. The Mountain Lions host Wheeling at home for the first time since October 18, 2017 with Friday night's game. CU rallied from a 2-1 deficit by scoring three unanswered goals in a 4-3 win on Concord's on-campus facility, Anderson Field. The only current Concord players to appear in the home victory over the Cardinals was Mosby who registered three shots in the game, senior defender Alyssa Mahar and senior midfielder Elisha Robinson who came off the bench to tally a shot. 2018 all-region performer Pilar Elias recorded a hat trick to help aid the win over Wheeling.

WHEELING AT A GLANCE
All four score lines for the Cardinals have been 2-0 in 2021. Wheeling lost to Fairmont State, Notre Dame and West Liberty to start the season before the victory over Frostburg State last Friday. Paige Orbell and Braedynn Porter are responsible for the WU goals this season. Porter also scored against the Mountain Lions last season in CU's 7-1 win. Jaci Wilson is the reigning MEC Defensive Player of the Week after making nine saves in Wheeling's shutout against Frostburg State.
