RECORDS
Winners of seven straight games, the Mountain Lions are 20-8 overall and earned the MEC's fourth seed after a 16-6 league mark.

Urbana posted a regular-season record of 17-11 overall and finished 13-9 in MEC play to grab the fifth seed.

WHAT A WEEK
Concord finished the regular season by toppling MEC regular-season champion Glenville State 103-102 Saturday afternoon. It was the first time CU had defeated the Pioneers since December 2015 on the road, and the first time Concord earned a win over Glenville State at the Carter Center since February 2012. That win came on the heels of Concord defeating West Virginia State, 103-77, Wednesday. It was the first time the Maroon and Gray scored 100 points in back-to-back games since becoming a Division II school in 1993. Senior forward Madison May averaged 31 points and shot 54.3 percent from the field (25-for-46) in the two games. Meanwhile, junior forward Riley Fitzwater recorded her second career triple-double with 20 points, 15 rebounds and 10 blocks versus West Virginia State, and averaged 23 points, 16.5 rebounds and 8.5 blocks in the two games. Saturday's win also sealed a second straight 20-win season for the Mountain Lions, marking the first time since the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons CU has had consecutive 20-win campaigns.

RARE COMPANY
With her performances during the week, Fitzwater is now just a rebound shy of 1,000 for her career. The Glenville, West Virginia native would become the eighth active player in Division II to reach 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds while she would join Renee Gagnier and Jolysa Brown as the other CU players to achieve the feat. For May and her 62 points over the two-game stretch, she passed Tracy Fletcher for third on the all-time scoring list at Concord with 1,738 career points. Additionally, May joined Fletcher as the only CU players with 600 or more points in a single season. May has 616 points this season while Fletcher scored 712 points during the 1986-87 season.

THREE-POINT SPECIALISTS
Junior guard Keely Lundy helped aid the upset victory over Glenville State as she sank a career-high five three-pointers on nine attempts. And for the week the Galax, Virginia native was 7-for-13 as she raised her career percentage from 33.4 to 34.5 (87-for-252), ninth at CU. Over the last seven games, Lundy is shooting 54.8 percent (17-for-31) from three-point range. Meanwhile, sophomore guard Maggie Guynn is six three-point attempts away from qualifying for the Concord record book minimum of 200. As it stands, Guynn is a 37.1 percent (75-for-194) shooter from three-point range in her career, which would be good enough for fourth at Concord. Over her last seven games, Guynn is shooting 44.4 percent (12-for-27) from beyond the arc.

TWO OF A KIND
By assisting on seven Concord baskets against Glenville State, sophomore guard Gracie Robinson went over 100 assists for the season to join May as the other Concord player with at least 100 assists this season. Additionally, May and Robinson became the only set of teammates in the MEC with marks of 100 points, 100 rebounds and 100 assists for the season. Robinson has also risen to fourth in the MEC in assists per game at 3.6 while May is third with 4.3 per game. Furthermore, Robinson's 1.42 assist-to-turnover ratio ranks sixth in the conference. During CU's seven-game winning streak, Robinson has had at least four assists in each game.

WORKING OVER
The Mountain Lions took both regular-season meetings from Urbana this season, but needed overtime in Athens to down the Blue Knights, 92-90. Neither team was a stranger to overtime this season. Of the nine overtime games in the MEC in the 2019-20 regular season, Concord and Urbana were involved in six of them. Concord was 3-1 in overtime this season while UU was 1-2. In the overtime win for CU against Urbana, May scored 25 points and 11 rebounds while Fitzwater also had a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds. Robinson finished one point shy of her career with 15. Lundy just missed her first career double-double with nine points and a career-best 11 rebounds.

GETTING STOPS
Concord (79.4) and Urbana (84.1) average near or more than 80 points per game for this season as both teams rank among the top 25 in scoring offense in Division II. However, the Mountain Lions have the MEC's top-ranked field-goal percentage, limiting offenses to 35.6 percent, four percentage points ahead of second-place Charleston. CU also has the MEC's third-best scoring defense at 71.0 points per game. Meanwhile, the Blue Knight surrender 82.6 points per game, 11th in the MEC. Concord has held seven of its last nine opponents below 40 percent shooting. On February 1, UU shot 41.0 percent at the Carter Center, but was limited to 37.9 percent in a 78-66 CU win in December.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
13.5- Average number of rebounds for Fitzwater in the two regular-season meetings with Urbana.

37.9- Field-goal percentage that CU held Urbana to in the December win, the third-lowest of the season for UU.

62- Percentage of shots Concord has assisted on (52 of 84) over the last two games.

URBANA AT A GLANCE
Tyra James and Sylvia Hudson are the highest scoring teammates in Division II as the duo combines for 45.7 points per game. James ranks fifth in the country in scoring (24.6) while Hudson's 20.1 points per game are 21st in Division II. In the overtime win for Concord, Hudson's afternoon was cut short as she fouled out, picking up all five fouls in the third and fourth quarters. Bailey Draughn is the only other UU player in double figures at 10.9 points per game. The Blue Knights are one win away from matching their program win total as a member of the MEC. In 2013-14, UU was 18-10 in the first year of the MEC. Urbana leads the conference with 16.5 assists per game.
