RECORDS
The Mountain Lions are 22-6 this season and come in as the third seed in the MEC Tournament with a mark of 17-5.

UVa.-Wise went 13-15 during the regular season and posted a MEC record of 11-11.

ONE TO REMEMBER
CU ended the regular season with the most regular season wins in program history as they broke the previous mark of 20 set by the 2011-12 team. This year's Mountain Lions are currently tied with the 2011-12 team for most overall wins in a season. The 2011-12 squad won two tournament games and finished with 22 wins that season. Additionally, the last time Concord was seeded in the top three of a conference tournament was the 2011-12 season when they were also third and made the tournament semifinals. CU enters Thursday's game with UVa.-Wise ahead of the single-season program marks in points per game (79.6) and field goal percentage (46.8). The all-time single-season record for scoring is 76.4 while the field goal percentage mark is 46.5. This season, Concord has scored 80 or more points in 14 games and it is 12-2 when it posts 80 points with both loses coming to Glenville State.

HIGH PRAISE
Earlier in the week, junior forward Madison May became the first All-MEC First Team player for the Mountain Lions in five seasons. Sophomore forward Riley Fitzwater and senior guard Andreanna Pool both earned All-MEC Second Team, marking the first time CU had three all-conference players in seven years. May was one of two players in the MEC—the other West Liberty's Marissa Brown—to finish the regular season ranked top five in both points and rebounds per game. The Athens, West Virginia native is the first player in program history to go over 500 points in a season since Jolysa Brown in 2011-12. May is averaging 18.7 points per game and has 523 points in 2018-19. For Fitzwater, she leads Division II in both field goal percentage (66.1) and blocks per game (4.1). Fitzwater has a 0.8 percent lead on Lews' Jessica Kelliher for the national lead in field goal percentage. Meanwhile, Fitzwater broke the program record for career blocks at UVa.-Wise Saturday and has 228 blocks. Additionally, Fitzwater is one of two players in Division II—along with Flagler's Tabitha Odabe to have consecutive 100-block seasons—in the last five years. Odabe also has done it the last two seasons. For Pool, she finished third in the MEC in three-point percentage (41.3) and was the only player in the league to finish top 10 in assists per game (fourth / 4.1) and three-pointers made per game (ninth / 2.1).

PROVIDING A SPARK
Freshman forward Maggie Guynn poured in a career-high 21 points as she tied her career best with four made three-pointers and went 5-for-9 from the field. The Pearisburg, Virginia native is averaging 8.9 points per game and is first in the MEC in scoring among players who have not started a single game this season. Guynn enters Thursday's game having scored in double figures in nine of her last 11 contests. Overall, the CU bench is averaging 18.7 points this season. Against UVa.-Wise, Concord's bench has averaged 26 points per game including a season-high 33 on Saturday.

NICE TO SEE YOU, AGAIN
The Mountain Lions play UVa.-Wise for a second straight game on Thursday. It won't be the first time the teams have played each other in the regular season finale, then had to play again in the first game of the conference tournament. In 2015, Concord won at UVa.-Wise on the final day of the regular season and to match up against the Cavaliers in the 8/9 game of the MEC Tournament, a game UVa.-Wise won. Overall, the Maroon and Gray holds a narrow 8-7 series advantage.

LOCK DOWN DEFENSE
In both Concord wins this season, the Mountain Lions have limited the Cavaliers to 36 percent or less from the field. On January 26, UVa.-Wise shot just 36.4 percent (28-for-77) in a 73-67 CU win. On Saturday, Concord was more impressive as it limited the Cavaliers to 32.4 percent (23-for-71). The Mountain Lions have also been stingy in allowing UVa.-Wise to make three-pointers as the Cavaliers are a combined 10-for-58 (17.2 percent) from three-point distance against CU, including a 3-for-24 effort Saturday. Overall, the Mountain Lions are top in the MEC in field goal defense (38.1 percent) and second in three-point defense (28.2 percent). The only team ahead of Concord is UVa.-Wise at 26.7 percent. In the first meeting, Concord was just 5-for-19 (26.3 percent) from three-point range, but nearly double that number as it shot 7-for-15 (46.3 percent) from beyond the arc on Saturday.

MARCH TO THE LINE
In the regular season finale, CU shot 37 free throws against UVa.-Wise which was one shy of tying the season high set in free-throw attempts which came in an overtime win at Charleston. But, Concord cashed in on just 64.9 percent (24-for-37). And for the season, the Maroon and Gray has shot 66 free throws versus UVa.-Wise. At Concord, the Mountain Lions were 20-for-29 at the foul line. For the season, May has shot 222 free throws which leads the league by a wide margin. No other player has attempted more than 150 shots from the charity stripe.

UVA.-WISE AT A GLANCE
The Cavaliers' Cynita Webb was named to the All-MEC Second Team on Monday as she joined Fitzwater, Brown and Wheeling Jesuit's Chenelle Moore as the players to average a double-double this season. In two games against CU, Webb has averaged 12.5 points and 13.5 rebounds. Ada Stanley is one of the best bench players in the MEC along with Concord's Guynn. Stanley has started just one game this season, but is averaging 10.6 points per game, second on the team. Stanley was limited to five points in late January, but went for 17 points on 6-for-8 shooting Saturday. Against the best rebounding team in the MEC, UVa.-Wise has outrebounded Concord in both games this season. In the first contest, the Cavaliers were plus-3 (46-43) and upped that margin to eight (44-36) on Saturday. CU is first in rebounding margin in the MEC (+4.8) while UVa.-Wise is second (+4.2).
