Stats: The Concord University Sports Information Department will provide live statistics of Thursday's contest.
Video: Live streaming video will also be made available for the game between CU and GSC.

RECORDS
After their fifth shutout win of the season, the Mountain Lions are 6-1 overall and 2-1 in the MEC. Additionally, Concord is ranked sixth in the latest United Soccer Coaches (USC) Atlantic Regional Poll.

Glenville State is 2-5 this season, but still looking for its first conference win of the season at 0-3.

BLANKETING DEFENSE
Speaking of the stingy defense for Concord, the Mountain Lions have nearly matched last year's total in shutout wins after recording seven in 2018. Junior defenders Morgan Carmichael and Alyssa Mahar along with sophomore defender Leigh Wightman have limited opponents to just 51 shots this season (7.3 per game) and just 20 shots on goal through seven games. Junior goalkeeper Katie Maher has a goals against average of 0.53 in over 500 minutes in net. Only Millersville's six shutouts are more than CU's five among regional teams. Concord's 0.48 GAA is 22nd nationally.

OFF THE BENCH, INTO THE GOAL
Sophomore Olivia Medieros scored her second goal of the season in Concord's 2-0 win at Charleston on Sunday. For Medieros, the goal surpasses her point from last season of three (one goal, one assist). Of the 19 goals scored by CU this season, four have come by players that have started one or fewer of the seven games. Earlier this season, senior midfielder Ali Cook and junior midfielder Elisha Robinson each scored a goal after coming off the bench.

HOT STREAK
Heading into play Thursday, sophomore forward Leah Foster has scored in two straight games after tallying the first goal at Charleston and also scoring in the 2-1 defeat at West Virginia Wesleyan. It marked the first time in Foster's career she has scored in consecutive games. Earlier this season, freshman Rachel Bell scored in three consecutive games to start the season and her career.

WE'VE GOT THE GOALS
Last season, Concord defeated Glenville State by a combined score of 20-0 as it won 12-0 on the road before defeating the Pioneers 8-0 on Senior Day. Of the 20 goals, Foster, junior midfielder Mira Kontio and junior midfielder Courtney Wallace each scored two with both of Kontio's coming in the 12-0 victory—the only double-digit goal outburst for the Mountain Lions last season. This year, CU has already defeated Salem 10-0.

GLENVILLE STATE AT A GLANCE
Glenville State, who is in just its second year as a varsity program, picked up its first ever program win with a defeat of Washington Adventist, 5-1. The Pioneers own a 1-0 win over Alderson-Broaddus. Most recently, GSC dropped a 1-0 overtime decision to Davis & Elkins. Leighana Weaver has two goals and an assist to lead Glenville State in points. Morgan Smailes has 56 saves in 75 shots on goal faced.
