ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord women's soccer team travels to Notre Dame for the Mountain East Conference Semifinal Round 3:00 p.m. Friday.

Concord is 11-4-3 overall and 8-3-2 conference.
Notre Dame is 10-5-1 overall and 10-2-1 conference.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
Concord picked up its first postseason victory since 2012 Â with a win over Charleston Tuesday afternoon at Anderson Field.
Sophomore midfielders
Courtney Wallace and
Mira Kontio each scored a goal in the first half of the contest.
It was Wallace's eighth consecutive game with a point dating back to the Wheeling Jesuit contest October 7.
Sophomore defender
Alyssa Mahar found Wallace for the first score in the 13
th minute of the first half. Just 10 minutes later, Kontio headed a shot in for a goal from a corner kick by sophomore midfielder
Yasmin Mosby.
Concord led Charleston 2-0 into halftime intermission.
The Golden Eagles found the net for the first time of the contest in the 53
rd minute of the match. Just 18 seconds later, freshman forward
Leah Foster dribbled down to score her eighth goal of the season. Foster finished out the scoring for the Mountain Lions with a goal in the 70th minute. It was Foster's second multi-goal game of the season. Â
Mahar assisted on Foster's second goal. Before Tuesday, Mahar had just one career point—an assist earlier this season versus Glenville State.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Katie Maher made two saves in the net, tallying her total at 52 saves for the season. Three of the 52 saves were against Notre Dame earlier in the season.
Concord was clipped 1-0 by Notre Dame in regular season MEC play. The Mountain Lions held a 14-9 advantage in shots on goal, but could only put two of those attempts on target.
The teams will play for a second time for postseason MEC play for semifinals. Last season, NDC downed the Mountain Lions 2-0 as the Falcons advanced to the MEC Finals.
CU did get off five shots on goal while Maher was forced to make six saves in the tournament elimination game.
Although losing, sophomore midfielder
Yasmin Mosby did land on the All-MEC Tournament Team for her efforts against Notre Dame in the MEC Tournament game.
Concord is 1-9 all-time versus the Falcons with the lone win coming last season at Anderson Field in a 4-2 victory. Wallace scored twice in the contest while sophomore midfielder
Sarah Hill and Mosby each added a goal.
The Mountain Lions are 7-1-1 on the road this season and haven't lost in a true road game since September 20.Â
The winner of the contest will advance to the MEC Championship against the winner of the West Liberty-West Virginia Wesleyan game which will also be played Friday.
NOTRE DAME AT A GLANCE
Katarina Doncevic and Na'pier Ramsey have scored three goals each for the Falcons.
Goalkeeper Kyra McDowell has made 60 saves this season and was named the All-MECÂ Second Team Goalkeeper this season.Â
Isabel Sentle is ranked third in the MEC for her two game-winning goals. One of Sentle's game-winning goals was in NDC 1-0 win over CU with Ramsey assisting.Â
