ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team travels to Notre Dame College for the semifinal round of the Mountain East Conference Tournament 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Mueller Field.

RECORDS
Concord earned the third seed in the MEC Tournament by finishing the season with 25 points and a mark of 10-7-1 overall and 8-7-1 in the conference.
Notre Dame recorded 38 points on its way to the number two seed. The Falcons are 12-3-2 this season and 12-2-2 against league competition.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
CU is making its first MEC Tournament appearance since the formation of the league prior to the 2013-14 academic year. It is the first postseason berth for the Mountain Lions since 2012.
After winning five straight games, Concord enters the MEC Tournament after a 0-0 tie against Urbana and 4-2 loss against fellow postseason participant Shepherd.
CU is second in the league in goals scored this season with 34. Only NDC's 38 goals are better than the Mountain Lions' scoring prowess in 2017.
Scoring by Concord has seen a significant spike from the last two seasons. The Mountain Lions were only able to score a combined 31 times in 2015 and 2016.
Junior forward Pilar Elias is second in the conference in points while freshman forward Sarah Hill is tied for third with teammate and freshman midfielder Courtney Wallace.
Wallace leads the conference in assists this season with eight.
CU and Notre Dame split two regular season meetings with each team winning at home by two goals.
The first matchup came September 17 at Mueller Field.
Hill found the back of the net early on after a free kick from sophomore defender Ali Cook. After Cook's free kick from 35 yards away, Wallace delivered an assist to Hill less than seven minutes into the game.
Notre Dame scored 15 minutes before halftime and added two goals in the final 10 minutes for the final margin of victory, 3-1.
The return game at Anderson Field October 12 featured six goals with Concord coming out a 4-2 winner.
Wallace scored two goals with both being assisted by freshman midfielder Morgan Carmichael. For Carmichael, it was her first career points at the collegiate level.
Hill opened the scoring once again versus Notre Dame on a goal in the 27
th minute. It was the first half's only tally.
Freshman midfielder Yasmin Mosby was responsible for the second Concord goal as she buried a free kick eight minutes into the second half to give CU a 2-0 lead at the time.
Concord's win over Notre Dame was the first win over the Falcons in program history.
NOTRE DAME AT A GLANCE
The Falcons are unbeaten since falling at Concord, going 3-0-1 that included a win over nationally-ranked West Virginia Wesleyan.
NDC finished up its regular season with a perfect 8-0 home record.
Alexis Manoa leads the MEC in points with 22 this season, but did not record a point against Concord in either game.
Jackie Corrigan who is tied with Manoa for the conference lead in goals scored two of her eight goals versus CU.
The winner of Concord-Notre Dame takes the winner of West Virginia Wesleyan-Shepherd with the higher seed hosting the championship Sunday.
