Ward clocked 25:07 at the Southern Showcase Friday morning. It was a personal-record 8,000-meter time for the Princeton, West Virginia. Ward finished 96th overall, but was 12th among non-Division I runners in a field that featured more than 450 athletes overall. Ward led CU to a sixth-place team finish among non-Division I schools.
