Wiersma hit .360 (9-for-25), slugged .680, scored eight runs, hit two home runs  and drove in 11 runs in a 4-2 week for the Mountain Lions. The Vancouver, British Columbia native drove in four runs in a 29-6 win for CU against Urbana. On the road at Wheeling Jesuit, Wiersma smacked his second grand slam of the season as CU went on to beat the Cardinals 12-2. In addition to his two home runs, Wiersma also ripped three doubles and had four multi-hit games. He also leads the MEC in RBI with 27.
