NEW ORLEANS – The Concord University men's cross country team is ranked eighth in the first regular season rankings of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) Atlantic Regional Rankings.
The Mountain Lions slid one spot from their preseason ranking of seventh.
The top 10 was as follows Charleston, Shippensburg, Fayetteville State, West Chester, Point Park, East Stroudsburg, Davis & Elkins, Concord, Kutztown and Glenville State.
In the lone meet CU has competed in this season, the Mountain Lions finished fourth at the Hokie Invite on September 4. Concord returns to action Friday at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama. Â
