Complete All-Region Release

NEW ORLEANS – Redshirt freshman Dom Collins of the Concord University men's track & field team has been selected to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) All-Atlantic Region Team, the organization released Wednesday afternoon.

Collins, a native of Princeton, West Virginia, gains all-region laurels for his performance in the 60-meter dash during the winter months.

At the Mountain East Conference Indoor Championships in late February, Collins sprinted 6.70 seconds in the 60-meters which was good enough to win the MEC Championships. He ranked third in the Atlantic Region in the event, and has also advanced to the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships in the 60-meters—he is slated to run 3:15 p.m. Friday in the 60-meter prelims.

Collins is the second Concord athlete in the last four years to earn All-Atlantic Region in the 60-meters, joining Gerard Hearst from the 2023 season.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season.
