HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Concord University women's track & field team placed ninth at the Mountain East Conference Indoor Championships that wrapped up Sunday evening at the Chris Cline Track Complex.
CU scored 17 points over the two days of competition.
Sophomore
Cassidy Hammonds was the lone scorer for the Mountain Lions on Saturday.
Hammonds followed up her outstanding Saturday performances by scoring points in the 60-meter dash as she sported a personal-record time of 7.87 seconds. She finished sixth.

Jenna Webb picked up a point for CU by finishing eighth with a time of 4:20.09.
Individually, Wall was 12
th in the both the 800-meter run (2:23.84) and mile run (5:20.33).
Charleston was the MEC Champions. UC's Laura Delgado de Torres and Point Park's Dunya Van den Tooren were the MEC Championship Co-MVPs.
