She finished 12th overall, but was the first Division I! finisher in the Division I-heavy field. In the 800-meters at Marshall, Wall clocked the second-fastest time in the conference, stopping the clocking at 2:22.55. She placed fifth overall, but was once again the top Division II athlete.

Ward recorded similar performances at Marshall in the mile and 3,000-meter runs. In the shorter event, the Princeton, West Virginia native ran a career-best time of 4:22.48 as he placed fourth. Ward's time is the sixth best in the MEC thus far during the indoor season. He followed up the mile with a 3,000-meters time of 8:41.12 which is tops in the conference. Ward finished fourth in the race. And in both races, he was the top Division II performer.
