ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University men's basketball head coach
Todd May continues to add to the 2025 recruiting class with the release of the signing of Eldon Terry Wednesday afternoon.
Name: Eldon Terry
Hometown: Brockton, Massachusetts
High School: Brockton
Previous School: Quincy College
Position: Forward
Height: 6-9
Known for his defense, Terry led the Division III level of the junior college circuits in blocks per game with 4.6 this past winter. However, Terry was an offensive force for the Quincy College in 2024-25, averaging 11.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. The future Mountain Lion was an efficient 55.6 percent from the floor. Terry also had an outside touch as he made 39 percent of his three-point tries in 59 attempts.
"Eldon Terry is a modern-day big man that can finish around the rim, and also step out and make three-pointers which he did at 39 percent," May said. "He'll make an impact on the defensive end, as he did last season with 102 blocks. He fits our GRIT culture and we are excited to add him to the Mountain Lion family."
For his performance this past season, Terry was named NJCCA All-Region XXI Second Team.
Terry joins junior college forward Anfernee Hanna (Nassau, Bahamas/Motlow State CC), Division II transfer Khamani Wertz (Charlotte, N.C./Belmont Abbey College) and high school guard Micah Young (Westerville, Ohio/Westerville North).
