CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Concord University baseball team gears up for the Mountain East Conference Tournament as CU plays the first game of the tournament 3:30 p.m. Wednesday against Point Park.
Tickets for the events will need to be bought separately for each day. All tickets are general admission and can be bought for $12 for adults and $5 for college-aged students and youth. Tickets can be purchased
here.
On Thursday, the Mountain East Conference and the Charleston Dirty Birds are partnering to offer a reciprocal ticket in which an MEC ticket is good for admission to the Dirty Birds' home game against Lexington that night. Likewise, a Dirty Birds ticket will give fans entry to either or both of the MEC Baseball Tournament games on Thursday. MEC games will start at 10 a.m. and approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Dirty Birds-Legends game is set for 6:35 p.m.
The MEC will provide live statistics and live video for each game of the tournament.
With a win Wednesday, Concord would be off Thursday and not play again until 12:00 p.m. Friday. A loss would mean CU faces elimination 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
