KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior forward Malher Santi Possu of the Concord University men's soccer team has been named to the United Soccer Coaches' (USC) All-Atlantic Region First Team, the organization released Tuesday afternoon.

Possu, a native of Cali, Colombia, picks up his second All-Atlantic Region First Team selection this postseason after earning a spot on the D2CCA All-Atlantic Region First Team in late November.

In 16 games this fall, Possu scored 13 goals and added four assists. His 30 points are tied for 15th in Division II while his goal count is tied for 11th in Division II. Playing only 16 games, Possu ranks seventh in the country in points per game (1.88).

During the season, Possu netted two hat tricks with the first coming in the  season opener versus Chowan (Sept. 4). He added a second hat trick—the third of his career—in a 5-0 win over West Virginia Wesleyan (Oct. 18). He also landed on the All-Mountain East Conference Tournament Team after tallying two goals in a 3-2 MEC Quarterfinal win over West Liberty (Nov. 12).

Possu becomes the first player in program history to be consensus first team all-region in the same season. And he is also eligible for the USC All-American Teams which will be announced Thursday, December 11.
