BRIDGEPORT W.Va. - The Concord University men's soccer team had eight selections on the All-Mountain East Conference Teams that were released Friday morning.

Senior forward Malher Santi Possu and senior defender Ted Roberts were named to the All-MEC First Team.

Senior goalkeeper Nathan Scargill, junior forward Dominique Malhomme, graduate student midfielder Raheem Baptiste, and senior defender Erik Lotysz were tabbed to the All-MEC Second Team.

Junior defender Zakari Messam was an All-MEC Honorable Mention, and freshman defender Adam Leibowitz earned a spot on the All-MEC Freshman Team.

Possu was an offensive machine in 2025, leading the MEC with 11 goals and 25 points. Possu spread his impact throughout the season but had two big offensive explosions to note. To open the season, he netted his second career hat trick against Chowan (September 4). His next hat trick came against West Virginia Wesleyan (October 18) in a big win for Concord. The Cali, Colombia native's most crucial goal came against Davis & Elkins (September 28) when he smashed in a free kick in the 84th minute to secure a 2-1 victory.

Roberts played all 1,620 minutes for the Mountain Lions as he helped anchor a Concord defense that allowed the second fewest goals in the conference (13). The Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines native tied for the conference lead with nine assists. Roberts had two games with two assists, against Chowan (September 4) and at Point Park (September 10).

Scargill returned as the Mountain Lion netminder after an All-MEC First Team nod a season ago. In his 13 starts, the Windsor, England native put up an 8-3-2 record while making 33 saves. Scargill allowed the second fewest goals in the MEC (10) and finished the regular season with the third most shutouts (four). His season high for saves was four but that was a mark that he notched in five straight matches.

Malhomme is one of the few newcomers who got a big piece of playing time for Concord in 2025. Malhomme made use of the playing time, scoring five goals for the Mountain Lions which was second most on the squad. His five goals are tied for third most in the MEC. The Chateauroux, France native scored the lone goal against Charleston on September 17th. He netted his lone brace of the season against Wheeling (October 8).

Baptiste played in all 18 matches, starting in 17 of them for CU. The St. David, Grenada native played a key role in the defensive midfield, as Concord allowed more than one goal just three times on the season. Baptiste's lone goal came against Davis & Elkins (September 28) and it was a banger from outside the box to help put Concord on top.

Lotysz stepped in a big way after injuries plagued Concord's back line. The Buenos Aires, Argentina native played in 15 games and started in 12 matches. Lotysz got a taste for goalscoring as he found himself in the right spots on set pieces, scoring in three matches. His goals against Wheeling (September 24) and Davis & Elkins (October 26) were the lone goals in crucial MEC road wins for Concord.

Messam was a mainstay in the Mountain Lion defense, wearing the captain's armband for Concord. The Manchester, Jamaica native played a major role in Concord allowing just 54 shots on goal the whole season, which was three per game. While Messam didn't record a goal or an assist, he aided in Concord recording back-to-back 30-point seasons in the MEC.

Leibowitz broke into the lineup for Concord and made his moments count. In his 13 games played, the Winter Springs, Florida native notched two goals on the season. They came in back-to-back games against Point Park (October 15) and West Virginia Wesleyan (October 18).

Charleston swept the MEC Awards as Sam Newell (Offensive Player), Franco Tradatti (Defensive Player), Martin Echarren (Freshman), and Daniel Smee (Coach) were all selected by the league's coaches.

The Mountain Lions host the winner of Point Park and West Liberty in the semifinal round of the MEC Tournament. The match will be held at Callaghan Stadium on Wednesday and a time will be announced in the coming days.
