Concord Ranked 12th in Super Region One Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS – The Concord University men's soccer team is ranked 12^th in the second edition of the NCAA Division II Super Region One Rankings that were unveiled Wednesday afternoon.

The Mountain Lions start play Wednesday with a record of 12-3-2 for the season, tied for the second-most wins in the region.  

Only 10 teams from Super Region advance to the NCAA Division II Tournament with five coming from conference tournament winners of the Central Atlantic Collegiate, East Coast, Mountain East, Northeast-10 and Pennsylvania State Athletic and the additional five being at-large teams.

Southern New Hampshire (12-1-2), Bentley (10-1-3), Charleston (13-0-3), Post (7-0-7), Franklin Pierce (8-3-3), Gannon (10-2-4), Wilmington (9-3-4), Adelphi (7-5-3), Millersville (9-3-4), Bloomsburg (7-2-6), Queens (12-3-3) and Concord (12-3-2) made up the Super Region One Rankings for this week.

The final regional rankings will be released November 12 with the NCAA Division II Selection Show slated for Monday, November 17.

CU wraps up the regular season with a chance to boost its postseason resumé at Charleston who is also ranked number one in Division II ahead of Wednesday's game at UC. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
