CAMPBELL BRACES
Sophomore midfielder Tiana Campbell netted her second brace of the season and the sixth of her career in Concord's 3-2 loss to Fairmont State Wednesday night. Campbell scored in both halves to bring her season total in goals to five which is tied for second in the MEC. In 26 career games, Campbell has now scored 14 goals. Additionally, she is the fastest player to six braces in program history since Annette Larsen in 2002. Of Campbell's 14 career goals, 12 have been on braces. The only time the Plymouth, England native has scored without a brace was earlier this year against Gannon, and last season versus West Virginia Wesleyan.

TWO-WAY PLAYERS
CU has tallied 12 assists this year on the 14 goals it has scored. Two Concord defenders, senior Jessica Neville and sophomore Ella Rowell, have accounted for two assists each. Rowell notched her fourth career assist in Wednesday's game against Fairmont State. She had an assist earlier in the year versus West Virginia Wesleyan. The duo has also had a big hand in Concord's shutout streak of 402 consecutive minutes that came to an end Wednesday. Rowell has also managed to fire four shots on goal this season from her right back position.

GOALS, GOALS AND MORE GOALS
In the last three meetings versus Salem, dating back to 2019, Concord has outscored the Tigers 30-0. In last year's 11-0 home victory over Salem, the Maroon and Gray had seven different goals scored that included Sydney Tucker netting a hat trick and senior forward Caitlin Webster tallying one of her three career braces. Webster has three career goals against the Tigers. Five different active Mountain Lions have scored against Salem in their careers: Webster along with Campbell, junior defender Katie Garratt, sophomore midfielder Marika Svensson and sophomore forward Ailsa Swinburne. CU has outshot Salem 76-0 in the last two meetings with 38 shots in each game.

SEEING RED
Concord has won nine straight meetings versus Wheeling which dates back to September 2017. With the nine consecutive wins, the Mountain Lions have taken an 18-12-4 advantage in the all-time series with the Cardinals. The Maroon and Gray has scored at least five goals in each of the last seven games versus WU. In last year's 6-0 win. Tucker had yet another hat trick while sophomore forward Taryn Kelly, Swinburne and Webster all scored. CU scored a 5-0 win at home in 2023. Concord has outshot Wheeling 57-19 in the last two games.

TWO OF THE BEST
Traditionally the Mountain Lions have been one of the best offenses in the MEC. Concord enters Sunday having scored 14 goals which is tied for fifth this year in the conference. For CU, 12 of the goals have come in conference play. Wheeling possesses one of the best defenses in the MEC, having given up 13 goals through eight games. Last weekend, Wheeling held the high-powered Fairmont State offense to just one goal which came in the final 10 seconds of the game.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Salem has already surpassed last year's goal total of two with five scores this fall. Niah Hidalgo and Audriana Medina have accounted for two goals each. The Tigers' lone win came against Washington Adventist, 4-0, September 19. Salem has already faced one Mercer County team this season as it lost 9-0 in the season opener to Bluefield State.

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
After earning a 1-1 draw with the MEC North leader Fairmont State, Wheeling fell 4-0 at West Virginia State in midweek action. The Cardinals host Davis & Elkins Sunday before making the trek to Callaghan Stadium for Wednesday's game. Ana Santos has scored twice this year despite taking eight total shots. Lily Hanna is tied for second in the conference in assists with three. Both victories for WU have come away from Bishop Schmitt Field.
