RANKED AGAIN
Concord finds itself once again in the United Soccer Coaches National Top 25 Poll, slotting in at 18th. This is the fourth time in program history that the Mountain Lions have been ranked and the second time this season, as they were previously ranked as high as tenth two weeks ago. The spot at 18 is the third highest ranking in program history as the Mountain Lions re-enter the poll after wins against Wheeling and Davis & Elkins.

SENSATIONAL SCARGILL
Senior goalkeeper Nathan Scargill has been excellent in net this season, especially in CU's past two victories. In the 1-0 win against Wheeling, Scargill came up incredibly clutch making all four of his saves in the second half to preserve the clean sheet. He made four more saves in Concord's 2-1 win against Davis & Elkins. The Senators had a few very good chances to equalize or even take the lead but Scargill stood tall securing another Mountain Lion win.

LOOKING FOR FIVE
The Mountain Lions have scored four straight wins against Salem.Over this stretch, CU has outscored Salem 12-2. Concord leads the all-time series 8-3 and looks to extend their winning streak in Bridgeport Sunday. Across the two meetings last season, three current Mountain Lions found the back of the net. In the meeting at Callaghan Stadium, senior forward Richard Henry and senior defender Kai Forsyth both bagged goals. In last year's game in Bridgeport, senior midfielder Malher Santi Possu contributed one of Concord's four goals.

FAMILIAR FOE
When Concord hosts Wheeling on Wednesday, just two weeks will have passed since their first meeting in 2025. Concord left Wheeling with a 1-0 win, as senior defender Erik Lotysz scored the lone goal for the Mountain Lions. It was a very even match as both teams finished with nine shots and Concord put five of them on goal compared to Wheeling's four. Concord has defeated Wheeling four straight times and secured a point in each of the last five outings against the Cardinals.

SCOUTING THE SALEM TIGERS
Salem has had a very interesting start to their 2025 campaign. They collected their lone win of the season, a 1-0 victory over Point Park, in just their second outing of the year. Since then they have five draws and two losses. The Tigers have had trouble scoring, but more importantly they are struggling to keep out goals. Their keeper, sophomore Jason Barrientos has been peppered with shots throughout his seven games played. He has collected a whopping 38 saves, but the Tigers may have their hands full when Concord comes to town.

SCOUTING THE WHEELING CARDINALS
Wheeling have had a tough go of things as well, as they currently sit at the bottom of the MEC. Offensively, they have mustered just five goals as a team with no player having more than one. They have also been shutout in four of their contests thus far. The Cardinals have kept a lot of their contests pretty close with three of their six losses coming by just one goal. These two teams have already met with Concord claiming a 1-0 victory in Wheeling.
