NEW ORLEANS – After a two-week hiatus, the Concord University men's cross country team has returned to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) Atlantic Region Poll.
The Mountain Lions check in at number ten after finishing fourth at the Mountain East Conference Championship Saturday morning.
The top six in the poll remained the same. Charleston, Shipppensburg, Davis & Elkins, East Stroudsburg, Kutztown and West Chester all held their spots from the previous rankings. Fayetteville State and Lock Haven flipped spots with FSU moving into seventh. West Virginia Wesleyan was ahead of Concord for ninth.
This week's regional rankings will be the final poll before the Atlantic Region Championship November 8 in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. The top three teams from the region will automatically qualify for the NCAA Cross Country Championship.
