ATHENS, W.Va. – Over the last few years at the conclusion of the academic year, the Concord University Sports Information Department takes a look back at each sport's program success in the recently completed season in an "Inside the Numbers" series.
Just two sports remain for the 2023-24 Inside the Numbers series. Men's track & field will be profiled Wednesday while baseball concludes ITN Friday.
58.41- Career-best 400-meter time for
Izzy Williams as she clocked the time at the Mountain East Conference Indoor Championships.
5:00.01- School-record mile time laid down by
Emily Wallace during the indoor season. Wallace also broke the indoor 3,000-meter run program record (10:11.74).
17:35.64- During the outdoor season, Wallace broke the program record in the 5,000-meters at Lee.
18:59.72- First time for
Katy Walkup breaking the 19-minute barrier in the 5,000-meters as she accomplished the feat at the MEC Indoor Championships.
19:57.49- Emma Londeree went under 20 minutes in the 5,000-meters for the first time during the outdoor season at Charleston.
32.69- Career-best javelin throw for
Lilly Jackson as she placed fourth in the event at the MEC Outdoor Championships.
39:22.44- Personal-record 10,000-meter run time for
Madison Cornett in her only race of the outdoor season.
2,150- Points scored by
Taylor Perry in her final outdoor meet as she finished seventh at the MEC Championships.
3,452- Indoor program record in the heptathlon set by
Nadiyah Abdussalaam at VMI.
