2023 Hall of Fame Program -
Complete CSC Award Winners
LAS VEGAS – On the final day of the College Sports Communicators' 2024 Unite Convention, the organization announced this year's Creative & Digital Design Contest winners, and the Concord University Sports Information Department has been recognized.
The CSC panel awarded CU Sports Information Director Wes McKinney third place in the College Division (Division II, Division III, NAIA and two-year colleges) for Online Magazine and Special Event Programs. The piece of work that received honors was McKinney's work on the Concord Hall of Fame program from the fall 2023 semester.
Eckard's Amanda Green and Brittany Iamele was first for the EC Athletics Reports. A trio from Northeast Mississippi CC was second for their work on the NEMCC Hall of Fame Program.
"I'm honored to be recognized by the CSC for my work on a prestigious honor for Concord coaches and former student-athletes," McKinney said. "The entirety of the hall of fame banquet is one of my favorite events of the entire school year, and is not something I take lightly in preparing for."
I'm thankful for the resources at Concord to be able to produce great content for the web as well as social media and print," McKinney continued. "Multiple pieces of work from Concord were submitted and each category is tough to place in, so to have one recognized is special."
This is the first time the Concord Sports Information Department has been recognized by the CSC Creative & Design Team.
This year's field of participants included more than 900 entries from the college division in photo of the year, portfolio of the year, gameday graphics, game notes and special events just to name a few categories.
