LEADING OFF
The Mountain Lions welcome back two players who spent most of 2023 at the top of head coach Alyssa Morris' batting order in sophomore infielder Lacie Lewis and junior infielder Kylee Stacy. Lewis hit safely in 41 of 51 games last season and had two different hitting streaks of at least 10 games. Over the final month of the season, Lewis recorded 10 multi-hit games. For Stacy, she also heated up with the weather in 2023. The Green Cove Springs, Florida native collected seven multi-hit games over the final three weeks of the season that included hitting for the cycle against West Liberty on April 8. Lewis hit a team-best .341 last season while cracking 12 doubles. Stacy batted .306 and swiped 14 bases in 18 steal attempts.

IN THE CIRCLE
Senior pitcher Nancy-Jo Roberts was stellar in her first season in the Maroon and Gray after transferring in for the 2023 season. She was responsible for winning 11 games and tossed 156 innings. While her strikeout numbers weren't high, Roberts still posted four shutouts last season. Roberts' 156 innings were the fourth most in a single season in program history. And her shutouts were tied for the third most in CU history for a season. One of Roberts' 18 complete games last season came in a 4-3 win over Tusculum at home.

WALK-OFF WINNER
After being shutout out by Tusculum in game one of the 2023 doubleheader between the teams, the Mountain Lions rallied from a 2-0 fifth-inning deficit to win 4-3. A home run by junior outfielder Delaney Fulk and an RBI single from sophomore infielder Morgan Cline tied the game in the bottom of the fifth. It was Fulk's second career home run. TU plated a run in the top of the seventh, but again Concord rallied in the bottom. A bases-loaded single by Cline provided the game-winning run as Fulk crossed the plate. It was one of two walk-off wins for CU last spring, and one of 25 games that Concord played in decided by one or two runs.
