STREAKS ON THE LINE
Sophomore infielder Lacie Lewis, who is the reigning Mountain East Conference Player of the Week, enters Sunday having homered in three straight games. She is the first CU player to homer in three consecutive games since her head coach Alyssa Morris had four consecutive games with a home run near the beginning of the 2016 season. Lewis is tied for the MEC lead in home runs early in the season and her eight RBI are third. As a team, Concord has scored 25 runs over the first four games of the season as it comes after plating just two runs in the first game of the season. The Mountain Lions have scored six or more runs in three straight games. And while Lewis has been at the forefront of the scoring, graduate catcher/outfielder Jolie Privett and junior infielder Kylee Stacy have been responsible for seven RBI.

HELPING YOURSELF
After a shutout of Tusculum in her Concord debut, sophomore pitcher/infielder Madison Hollis backed up her pitching performance with 4.1 strong innings at UVa.-Wise Sunday afternoon. She yielded five hits and two runs while striking out eight. Hollis was named MEC Pitcher of the Week after her 2-0 start to the season. Additionally, Hollis collected her first career RBI in the UVa.-Wise game by belting a solo home run to help her own cause in the 8-6 win. And Hollis has also fielded her position exceptionally well in two starts, collecting eight fielding assists while in the circle.

DOUBLES MACHINE
Along with the power hitting of Lewis, junior infielder Courtney Raines has bolstered the offensive production with a double in three straight games. For the Salem, Virginia native, she has nearly matched her double output from last year when she only had four. Raines has also accounted for four of the seven doubles Concord has as a team. Going back to last year, Raines has collected five doubles in her last seven games. CU's everyday second baseman over the last two seasons is in a four-way tie for the MEC lead in two-base hits.
